This morning I was a student…

Spinning instructor extrordinaire

What an awesome start to my Friday morning.

We were lucky enough to have Kate Hickl( from Flywheel Sports come to the loft and teach a class to Rebecca Pacheco ( , Cara Cameron (lululemon), Trace, and my friend Jessica Bell( Kate, Rebecca, and Cara were in town for a lululemon ambassador summit in Whistler.

It was great to see up close what an accomplished spin instructor can bring to a spin class. It would have been impossible to not be energized from the moment the class begun until hours afterward. The music, the instruction and the encouragement made this class by far my best spin experience yet. I was learning every second while working my butt off at the same time. We all had so much fun and sweated equally as much.

For those of you that don’t know, Flywheel Sports is one of the premiere Spinning studios in NYC with seven locations throughout the city. Kate trains the other instructors at Flywheel and I am excited to learn as much as I can from her going forward.  She is full of energy, enthusiasm and so eager to help out. I plan to be in New York in May to take as many of her classes as I can, in her element and in her studio. She sure seemed in her element this morning. I hope she had as much fun as I did.

Everyone should experience this type of Spin class.

Nothing happens overnight but I feel fortunate, at this early stage to see what I can shoot for.

Kate, thank you.

Jessica, Kate, Rebecca, Trace, Cara and River
